Return & Refund Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Because Orkezo delivers custom software, websites, AI/ML systems and mobile applications built specifically for each client, our refund policy differs from a standard retail return policy. This is a general-purpose template and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before being treated as a binding legal document.

Advance payments

Project advances secure your place in our delivery schedule and cover initial discovery, planning and design work. Advances are generally non-refundable once work has commenced, except where Orkezo fails to begin work within the agreed timeframe.

Milestone payments

For milestone-based projects, each payment corresponds to a specific, agreed deliverable. If a milestone is not delivered as scoped, the client may request revisions before that milestone payment is due. Refunds for a completed and approved milestone are not issued once the client has signed off on that stage.

Cancellations

  • If a client cancels a project after work has started, payment is due for all work completed to date.
  • Any remaining balance from an advance payment, after deducting work completed, may be refunded at Orkezo's discretion within 14 business days.

Non-refundable items

  • Third-party costs already incurred on the client's behalf (domain names, hosting, licenses, paid plugins/APIs)
  • Work explicitly marked as delivered and approved by the client

Disputes

If you believe a delivered milestone does not match the agreed scope, contact us within 7 days of delivery with specific details. We will review and, where warranted, provide revisions or an appropriate partial refund.
